Do I need a wedding planner?
Planning a wedding takes, on average 200 - 300 + hours—and for many, the process spans more than a year. As your wedding planner, we’ll save you time, reduce stress, and guide you through it all with confidence. With over 10 years of experience in the events industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge, creative insight, and a trusted network of suppliers to support you. What kind of weddings do you work on?
Our planning is entirely bespoke, designed around you and your story. Whether you're envisioning a timeless stately home celebration, an elegant glasshouse ceremony or a beautiful marquee in the countryside, we bring your ideas to life. We love both tradition and individuality—whether you're planning a classic church service or something completely unique.

Will you be there on the wedding day?
Absolutely. We’ll be there with our schedules, emergency kit, and calm coordination to make sure everything runs smoothly. From liaising with suppliers to assisting guests, we’ll be working quietly behind the scenes so you can relax, enjoy each moment, and soak in every memory without a single worry.

Where are Your Story Events based?
We’re based in Buckinghamshire and London regularly working across the Home Counties, including Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, and Kent. We also adore planning Cotswolds weddings and are happy to travel for beautiful celebrations anywhere in the UK. If you’re planning a UK wedding, we’d love to hear from you.

How much do your services cost?
We offer three tailored planning options, each with guide pricing and details available on our wedding services page. After our initial chat, we’ll provide a bespoke proposal based on your specific plans and needs.

How many weddings do you take on each year?
To maintain our personal and attentive service, we take on a limited number of full planning weddings each year. For all services, dates are booked well in advance—so if you’re considering working with us, we recommend getting in touch early to check availability.

I live abroad but want to get married in the UK. Can you help?
Yes—we love working with couples around the world. We’ll manage everything from this side: sourcing venues and suppliers, handling logistics, and coordinating all the finer details. We’ll also take care of accommodation, transport, and guest management, plus pre- and post-wedding events. When you visit the UK, we’ll curate key experiences like venue tours, menu tastings, dress appointments or design meetings. If travel is limited, you can trust us to handle things with care and clarity, keeping you up to date with video calls, planning updates and your own planning portal.
