Your Wedding Stories - An elegant Cotswolds Wedding

Rachel and Paul were married in June 2025 at the beautiful Kin House, a stunning wedding venue in the Cotswolds. They had already secured this dreamy venue, but were looking for support with the rest of their planning, ensuring their day felt timeless, relaxed and truly personal.

Their vision was for a classic and understated design, simple yet full of meaning that reflected who they are as a couple. Kin House offers wonderful on-site accommodation, allowing Rachel and Paul to spend the entire weekend surrounded by their closest family and friends, including their much-loved dog, Oscar. The morning began with a delicious breakfast and a calm, joyful atmosphere as everyone got ready together in the house’s beautiful spaces. The ceremony took place on the lawns, an intimate, celebrant-led celebration filled with heartfelt touches. Oscar took on the role of ring bearer, while a string quartet played their chosen music, creating the most romantic setting.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the lawn before being invited into Kilvert Hall for the wedding breakfast. The room was styled in timeless white and soft pastel flowers, including the same types of roses that grew in Rachel’s grandmother’s garden, a sentimental detail that added meaning to their design. Their wedding stationery was inspired by Rachel’s grandfather’s artwork, a beautiful personal touch that tied their story together throughout the day.

Following a wonderful meal and heartfelt speeches, the evening continued with the cake cutting, first dance, and an incredible live band that kept everyone dancing late into the night. It was such a joy to be part of this stunning Cotswolds wedding, and I loved getting to know Rachel, Paul and their families throughout the planning journey. I’m so grateful to have been their wedding planner at Kin House, helping to bring their celebration to life.
