How can I support your UK destination wedding?

If you’re based in LA, Dubai, Sydney or Singapore, anywhere in the world actually, and you are looking to get married in the UK but not sure how, then I am your girl!

I love working with couples all over the world and I will be your UK-based wedding planner; your eyes and ears on the ground ensuring you are getting the best suppliers and that logistically, everything will run smoothly. I can also plan the welcome parties, family dinners and brunches, focussing on making your wedding the best weekend-long celebration for you, your friends and family, who may have also traveled from afar.

When should I book a destination wedding planner?

If you’re based outside the UK, I do advise my full-service planning and book as soon as possible. This’ll mean I can be here to guide you from the start, especially with venue searching if you don’t know the area. You may already have a good idea of locations (if one of you is from the UK), or perhaps you have your venue already booked. In these instances, there’s still lots to plan, book and organise which I can arrange for you.

What does a destination wedding planner do?

I will do all the usual tasks that come with wedding planning such as venue searches, venue visits, sourcing and liaising with suppliers and entertainment, creating a design, floor plans, organising your invites and RSVPs, and creating all the admin for the day.

With a destination wedding, you may have additional needs to manage such as transport, accommodation, logistics and any pre/post wedding celebrations. You may also want to visit the UK during the planning period, so I will arrange all those important (and exciting!) things to do while you are here such as bridal dress appointments, menu tasting, venue visits or florist mock-up meetings.

What happens once I book a destination wedding planner?

Once booked, we would have regular catch-ups via video, you will have access to the planning software and portal I use, so we can check-in on progress and you can see exactly what I am up to and what stage we are at. I’ll then arrange lovely face to face meetings and catch-ups when you come to the UK.

What if I can’t come back to the UK during planning?

If you can’t come back as often as you would like, with my experience you can trust that I will make the best decisions on your behalf, including finding your venue, menu tastings, supplier meetings or anything else. I will keep you updated with videos, and we will chat all the time, so you won’t feel in the dark about anything. Rest assured, it is your day, I’m here to bring your vision and dream wedding to life.

Why choose a UK destination wedding?

You may be wondering, why is the UK a great choice for a destination wedding? Admittedly, most couples will have a connection of some sort here but not always. But the country is full of rich culture, heritage sights, stunning museums, gorgeous English manor houses and rolling green hills. An English Country Garden wedding in the Cotswolds is beautiful in the summer (yes, there may be a chance of rain but a little rain didn’t hurt anyone!), or perhaps a stylish, cosmopolitan city wedding in the heart of London is more your vibe.

The UK has lots of exciting things to do from enjoying the countryside (hello woodland walks and canal boats) to more tourist destinations (think Buckingham palace and red bus tours). Also getting here is easy with lots of major airports and connections to train stations. There is so much to do in London or any major UK city for your guests on either side of your wedding. So, it is actually one of the best destination wedding locations you could think of!

If you are based abroad and considering a UK-based wedding then please get in touch here. I can’t wait to hear from you.
