I love styled shoots, it gives us wedding suppliers the chance to work with new suppliers (we otherwise may not get the chance to work with), make industry friends and explore our creativity. This shoot I planned with Wedding Stationer, Lauren Daisy. Lauren came to me with her initial vision and venue and asked my help in making it happen!
The beautiful venue she had in mind was the stunning Caswell House, based in the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside, in the UK. I simply had to be involved. I love how barns can be used for luxe, elegant weddings not just for a rustic aesthetic. I wanted to really show this in the shoot, by using elegant touches and the beautiful colour palette of soft blue and lilacs.
I helped source remaining suppliers, designed the tablescape and planed the logistics of the shoot. I had a great day working with this fabulous team which included florist Blue and Boheme, The Pretty Cake Company and Celebrant Meg Senior Ceremonies. I also sourced tableware from Wren Ark and linen from Northfields Linen. The shoot was captured perfectly by Tanya Flanagan Photography, in her soft, light and airy photography style which suited the shoot concept perfectly.
The models were a real couple, Beki & George, and the glam squad for Beki was Pinned with Love for hair and Beth Ansell for wedding make-up. The wedding dress was from Butterfly Bridal Boutique and George's suit was from Dragonfly Groomswear. Accessories and jewellery were supplied by Fiona Lucy and Beki's stunning shoes from Harriet Wilde. We also had Dita Bowen capturing the shoot on video.
If this shoot has you feeling inspired to kick-start your wedding planning with the help of a wedding planner, then I would love to hear from you. You can find out more about ways of working with me here.
