Pantone colour 2023: Digital Lavender

How to incorporate digital lavender into your wedding day

I have had so much fun creating this inspirational mood board to get your creative juices flowing for 2023 pantone colour: digital lavender, and I love it. It is giving off major Bridgerton vibes too!

Lavender is known to have a calming effect which is perfect for relaxed and romantic, spring/summer weddings. It is a beautiful colour to pair with neutral, light earthy tones to balance it out a little - which is what I have done below. Or you can combine with pinks, peaches and yellows for a pastel colour pop.

If you are having a winter wedding you can absolutely still incorporate this colour; I would suggest pairing it with deep blues and rich purples, to act as a light accent on a bold, moody palette.

Areas I recommend featuring digital lavender in your wedding would be your flowers (perhaps even incorporating real lavender buds within your bouquet for the colour and amazing smell!) Consider lilac tinted cakes or sweet treats, and subtle touches on your wedding stationery too.

For your wedding décor, how about lilac coloured candles, adding some ribbon detailing or lavender napkins? If you really love this shade and want it to be more prominent in your day, you could dress your bridesmaids in it. I love this image below of slighting varying hues of lavender and lilac to really incorporate this trend.
